FREE HUGS MEETUP!
So, ito na. Less than 2 days na lang. This is the first meetup I’m going to put up and I know I haven’t done much but just put it up. I’ve been busy with work and personal stuff I need not tell you all. I was shy enough to ask for help from my friends and people who are willing to help so I guess, now is the time na humingi ako ng tulong. Simple things: just reblog this post to tell every attendee what one needs to bring and do, or some people help me out in messaging each individual (I’ll do this too but we all know na hanggang 10 per hour lang ang pagsesend ng messages and I can’t send fan mails to people that I don’t follow, so mahirap lalo na ngayon 100+ na ‘yung attendees which I didn’t think would happen dahil ang plano ko ay 20-40 lang attendees pero sabi nga, “the more, the merrier!”) para alam nila kung ano na ba ang update lalo na kung ‘di nila ako finafollow or ‘di nila mabasa ‘to. So firsthand nilang malalaman ‘yung update via their inbox (so, if anyone wants to help, just message me and I’ll send you what needs to be sent on people’s inboxes and I’ll give you URLs para alam kung sino ‘yung nasendan na o hindi pa, hehe).
Anyway, eto ‘yung details in bold type:
FREE HUGS MEETUP, a pre-Valentine’s meetup, February 12, 1:30 PM. We will meet at Mall of Asia seaside area, sa may fountain sa may gitna, I’m sure you know where that is. What you need to bring are materials in making placards/banners: a noticeable sized board (or something large enough to write “FREE HUGS” on, and other designs you could put like hearts, butterflies, etc.) and markers (preferably red dahil valentine’s but bring any color/s that you want, it’s your placard anyway). The meetup will commence at 2 p.m. (SHARP!). It will start with a simple acquaintance so we could all know who are there and then we will proceed to building groups so we’ll know who we’ll be with throughout the meetup. Afterwards, the groups will then make banners and placards for their members, the banners/placards should have the words “FREE HUGS” so people know what we’re there for. After making the banners/placards, we’ll then proceed in dispersing the groups all over the mall so we can offer people FREE HUGS because it’s the weekend nearest Valentine’s Day! It can go as long as you want and when you’re done, we’ll all meet again at a certain place to end the meetup (go on and eat or drink or watch a film afterwards, as long as we get to enjoy this the whole day!). If some still want to offer free hugs until evening, please do so! Nonetheless, that’s all we need: our presence, our arms to hug, placards to let them know we are all there to offer free hugs, and smiles to warm everything!
